Traumatic Arrest Scenario (ECA)

You are dispatched to a 36-year-old in cardiac arrest on the nearby motorway. Control advises the incident is at the roadworks currently in progress, and that CPR is ongoing. You are the nearest resource, with another crew approximately 5 minutes behind you. Helimed is also en route and is expected to arrive at a similar time to the second crew.

On arrival, you find the patient on the roadside with colleagues performing CPR. You are informed the patient was crushed by a truck used at the roadworks, across the abdomen, pelvis, and upper legs. He became unconscious shortly afterwards.
